Karting (NSW) Inc has announced there will be two titles up for grabs at its first Endurance Karting State Title meeting, to be held at Dubbo on the weekend of 18 and 19 May 2019.
“Endurance Karting in NSW has never been stronger and the Karting NSW Board has seen fit to recognise this and to further raise the profile of Endurance Karting by supporting the Four Stroke Karting Association of NSW (4SKANSW) and The Endurance Karting Association (TEKA) with a NSW State Title Race Meeting” the association announced in a statement.
The two state titles up for grabs are:
- NSW State Title, Single Engine Endurance: the winner of 4SKANSW 6-Hour at Dubbo on 18 May 2019
- NSW State Title, Twin Engine Endurance: the round winner at Dubbo of TEKA’s 2 X 4-Hours on 18 and 19 May 2019
In addition to trophies and prizes on offer, the winner of each State Title will be permitted to run their existing racing number with an Orange background until the following years state title meeting at events run by the club with which the State Title was won. This will mean that the state title holding team can be easily identified and recognised by all.
The Dubbo Endurance State Titles, supported by Homebush Karts and Dubbo Regional Council, is set to be the biggest Four Stroke Endurance event on the calendar and will be an annual KNSW event.
