James Wharton has joined the UK-based Ricky Flynn Motorsport team to contest the WSK Final Cup series that commences at Lonato, Italy, this week October 18-21.
“I have had tremendous speed this year but really want to turn that into solid results to close out my 2018 European season” James said on social media.
“Whenever I look at the results throughout the past few years, the RFM drivers always feature.”
Looking at the results in the WSK Champions Cup at the beginning of the year, the RFM OK Junior drivers finished 1 and 2, three seconds clear of the nearest rival. For this reason it seemed the logical choice for Wharton.

Other Australians, Oscar Piastri and Jack Doohan, have also been under the tuition of Ricky Flynn in years gone by and the results speak for themselves. RFM is known for the meticulous care, attention and support each driver receives, along with the very best equipment.
