Near Miss For Howard & Preston at US Rotax Open

Australian Pro Tour racers Scott Howard and Jac Preston both started pole in their finals, but neither was able to take home victory at the Rotax US Open in New Jersey on the weekend.

Having dominated DD2 Masters, Howard led the entire final before being “taken out in the last corner”. He crossed the line in the grass, just 0.088s behind the winner.

In DD2, Preston also started P1 but suffered a mechanical issue that took him out of the event.

After starting P4 and leading early in the race, Jaiden Pope finished fifth in the Junior MAX Final.
