Team Report: Sacco & Domaschenz Well In the Mix

VICTORIAN COUNTRY SERIES – Rnd.2 Ballarat

Considering the amount of racing over the past two months the VCS continues to draw brilliant numbers with over 230 entries at last weekends meeting. Blessed by awesome conditions for racing, our Haase pilots continue to perform consistently brilliant and figured exceptionally well in all classes entered.

Nicholas Sacco & his new Haase

Fresh from the AKC the previous weekend both Nicholas Sacco & Christian Cowie lead the charge in KA4 – Junior Light, with young Sacco dropping his brand new, untested, the kart that Dad put together the night before, 2018 Haase Chassis on Pole in qualifying with young Cowie in 4th.

Throughout the heats the boys were super consistent and fast with Sacco finishing 2nd in the final and Cowie finished a very strong 4th. With the new Haase Chassis continuing to come on in the final, a few more laps and the results would of been very different. Super effort Boys and remember this is a fantastic result considering that you are the only two guns driving a new Haase in a field of 21!!!

In Cadet 12, Matthew Domaschenz continues to be super fast and consistent as ever, with fellow Haase pilots James Lodge, Isaac Woodhouse, Ryan Newborn and new recruit Darcy Hyne all driving magnificently through out the heats. Congratulations to Domaschenz finishing a mighty 2nd in the final followed by Lodge in 6th, Woodhouse in 9th and Newborn rounding out the Top 10 in 10th. Little mate Darcy Hyne unfortunately had a DNF in the final but I am sure he will come back bigger than ever in the next round.

Aidan Soloman drove exceptionally well all weekend in KA4 Junior Heavy in a huge field of 25 entries. After qualifying 13th, Aidan set about getting the job done throughout the heats to finish a well deserved 6th in the final. Well done champ.
