Organisers of the Victorian Country Series have advised there is a change to the race format for the Cadet 12 class at the Ballarat round this weekend.
“We have had to use a new format as they went past 150% track capacity. This only applies to Cadet 12, not other classes.”

Entries for Cadet 12 will re-open shortly and be limited to 48 entries.

We have been in contact with KA for permission to run a format not specified in our sporting regs.
Format
Qualifying Group 1: Odd
Qualifying Group 2: Even
A group: Qualifiers 1,3,5,7,9,11 etc
B group: Qualifiers 2,4,6,8,10,12 etc
Heat 1: A Group ONLY
Heat 1 B Group ONLY
Heat 2: A group ONLY
Heat 2: B group ONLY
A Final: Top 24 from both race points (Countback on qual time)
B Final: Remaining karts (If time permits)
Each group races 2 heats in their own group – the top 24 karts go through to the A final
Please understand that this is an unprecedented situation outside the sporting regs and quick decisions were needed.
We hate disappointing Cadet karters as much as you, and hope this solution has the least inconvenience and fairest chance for all.
