16 Straight Podiums For Patrizicorse

2018 Australian Kart Championships RD1, Monarto S.A.

Troy Loeskow recorded Patrizicorse’s 16th straight podium with a super comeback after qualifying down in 15th due to a wet track and slick tyre combination.

Both Loeskow and Dylan Drysdale, who drive the all new Ricciardo Kart DR01-S9 SH chassis, finished the final in 2nd and 4th (Qualified 17th) and now sit 2nd and equal 4th respectively in the championship standings.

The final was an exciting battle of speed as Loeskow chased down the leader Cameron who got an early jump starting from the pole. Drysdale slipped into 3rd and was only relegated back to 4th in the closing laps due to an injury sustained in the final.

In x30, Patrizicorse drivers Norberg, Lobko and Pancione showed the great potential of the S9 Chassis line. However a few mechanical issues robbed them of the results they warranted. A notable result in the final was Christian Pancione’s drive from 38th on the grid to 21st. Ryan Norberg finished 12th and Zak Lobko 27th.

Our youngest driver Mattia Marzella-Fittipaldi, on debut at AKC level, had a goal to make the final. Unfortunately for Mattia we missed by one spot. It was a great effort on debut with so little experience.

RD2 heads to the newly upgraded Albury circuit in country VIC/NSW on the 14-15th April.

Patrizicorse products again dominated at AKC level with both PWR Radiators, TM Engines and Vrooam Lubricants taking a clean sweep on the KZ and X30 podiums.

All Patrizicorse products can be found at the newly launched Patrizicorse website – www.patrizicorse.com
